• Open to students of all nationalities
• Apply through the Higher Education Admission Centre of Ministry of Higher Education
• Apply directly to Caledonian College of Engineering
• Applicants must have a minimum of Grade C or 65% marks in Pure Maths/Applied Maths and Chemistry/Physics in Diploma of General Education or equivalent qualification.
• Special provisions for mature students applicable under current general University and Ministry regulation for mature students
• All applicants must sit for the placement test which covers English, Maths, Science and IT Skills

Mature Students Entry

Based on the guidelines provided by the Ministry of Higher Education for the mature students, applicants of age 25 and above but below 45, with minimum of 6 years work experience and have completed 9 years of school with pass, are eligible to enter into the programme at appropriate level provided that they demonstrate satisfactory performance in all sections of the College entrance test and obtain the approval from Ministry of Higher Education regarding their admission

Credit Transfer

The College has a provision of Module Credit Transfer, if a candidate seeking admission to CCEO holds higher qualifications complying with Oman Qualification Framework.

A candidate who is eligible to apply for Credit Transfer must complete the procedures two weeks prior to the commencement of studies
