Caledonian College of Engineering is committed to ensure that all its operations and services are of high quality and standard. The main aim of the Quality Management System (QMS) is to integrate the quality & standards with the planning process of College operation. The Scope of the system covers all the operations which are carried out at various departments for ensuring quality in its functioning and quality of the outcome.
Caledonian College of Engineering will strive to continually improve the high levels of service and courses to their students, by strictly adhering to the Quality assurance requirements, procedures set by the Caledonian College, Ministry of Higher Education and the Glasgow Caledonian University
Central Quality Office
The Central Quality Office of Caledonian College of Engineering was setup in May 2004.Since then, the Central Quality Office is strengthened to cater to the ever increasing demands of the college.
The Central Quality Office is responsible for the co-ordination of activities designed to both ensure and enhance the quality of the College in all its operations. The office through various built in checks & balances of QMS from time to time ensures that the processes, procedures and practices within the college comply with the requirements of maintaining high quality.
The Quality Office is supported by other committees’. It has a key role in the dissemination, implementation and enhancement of quality assurance procedures to promote consistency. It also encourages the identification and dissemination of good practices.

- Monitoring & Reviewing of Academic Quality & Academic Standards
- Oversee internal & External QA activities
- Ensure effectiveness of QMS & continual improvement
- Monitoring external examiner reports and departmental responses to ensure taking up of appropriate actions
- Coordinate & review, Validations & Audits
- Conduct surveys, Analyze results & initiate actions & follow -up
- Review & update systems, policies & procedures
- Monitor , Oversee & Manage all the relevant activities of the centrally coordinated assessment
