PROGRAMME
CNAPs Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) is a complete
4-semester 6 months program on the principles and practice
of designing, building and maintaining networks capable of
supporting national and global organizations. This web-based
multimedia course helps you to your first job in IT. It will
be the best move you ever make.

Sem - 1 Networking Basics
Sem - 2 Routers and Routing Basics
Sem - 3 Switching Basics & Intermediate Routing
Sem - 4 WAN Technologies
SCHEME OF STUDY
The above programme is offered in the evening session, and
this is specially designed to benefit those persons in employment.
The current course hours are:
4.00 pm - 7.00 pm : Saturday to Wednesday
COURSE DELIVERY
The Networking Academy program delivers web-based content,
online assessment, student performance tracking, hands-;;'n
practical sessions, instructor training and support and prepares
students for industry-standard certifications.
COURSE DURATION
The minimum duration for the 4-semester course is 6 months,
which may be extended up to a maximum of 9 months.
ELIGIBILITY
Any student / candidate who has passed 12th standard or
equivalent is eligible for admission to the CISCO Networking
Academy Program (CNAP). No previous experience required.
The course fee for 4 semesters is RO 650/- for existing college
students and RO 900/- for other candidates.
ENTRY DATES.
The normal intakes will be in September and February every
year. Batch size is limited to 20 students.
HOW TO APPLY
Applications for admission in the prescribed form along
with the course fee should reach the College before last date
fixed for commencement of each session.
FACULTY
The CISCO courses are offered at CCE through faculty trained
and certified by CISCO systems and under the expert guidance
of the Department of Electronic & Computer Engineering.
TEST
Will be conducted at any of the PROMETRIC testing centres.
Exam fee (for one attempt) is included in the course fee and
student will have to bear the exam fees for subsequent attempts.
CERTIFICATIONS
The Networking Academy Curriculum provides ample preparation
for CompTIA Network + Certification after the first two semesters
and the CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification
after the completion of the course i.e. 4 semesters.
