This programme, titled Electronic Business, (E-Business) reflects the broader area of the changing nature of business. On the one hand we are seeing the emergence of new business models including the virtual organisations and the dot coms, and on the other hand the transformation of business processes - not just buying and selling but also servicing customers, collaborating with business partners and conducting electronic transactions within an organisation.
