Human Resource Development in Oman is a project closest to His Majesty’s heart and has received emphasis time and again. His Majesty’s Vision 2020 outlines promising future for Oman and the rate at which we have seen the growth and development in key areas of its industrial and service sector in the country is incredible.

The Department of Educational and Professional Development is constantly striving toward this vision to provide soft skills needed to work well in a multi cultural work environment.

Our Professional Development Programmes are similar in nature to the programmes offered at various corporate and oil and gas Industries in Oman in areas of leadership and human resource. These programmes are contextualised to the needs of workforce in Oman and address Advanced Life Skills and entrepreneurial development. We specialise in Soft skills training and development through interactive workshops.

The Department of Educational Professional was set up in June 2003 and today has distinguished faculty with experience and expertise in education, human resource training and development and exposure to various manufacturing and service industries. Our aim is to provide an enjoyable and quality learning experience and develop skills most needed to equip students with professionalism and confidence to take up positions of responsibility in their career ahead.
