APL (Acquired Prior Learning) is being considered for allowing exemptions to prospective candidates who have completed some of the modules or equivalent, which need to be completed for the award of an engineering degree, elsewhere in the world. Normally, these exemptions are decided on case-to-case basis and hence it is always advisable to contact the department admission tutor with proof of prior learning (course transcripts) before registering themselves for various modules in the proposed program.
