of Electronic & Computer Engineering was established in
1996 and has grown over the last ten years into a full-fledged
department with more than 30 staff members with excellent
academic records and 400 students. The department is committed
to provide quality education and produce competent engineers
to meet with the growing demand for professionals in Computer,
Telecommunications, Electronic, and Electrical Power Engineering.
The graduates from this department have gone on to pursue
careers as telecommunications managers, consultants, network
engineers, design engineers, software / hardware engineers,
application programmers, system analysts, system administrators
and database administrators. With a dedicated team of staff,
the department takes pride in providing learning experience
and laboratory facilities second to none. A small student-to-teacher
ratio enables individual attention to the students by the
faculty. Also, the personal tutoring system provides an excellent
opportunity for personal and academic counseling.
