The department of Mathematics and Science cater to the needs of foundation as well as engineering programmes. The foundation studies programme, helps the students to prepare basic mathematics and science in English language as most of the students have done their Thanwiya Amma (secondary school) in Arabic .The students are taught concepts which enables students to understand engineering subjects clearly. The syllabus has been designed so that it is compatible with the basics of all branches of engineering offered by the college.

Our department provides support to the engineering programmes to underpin the requirement of developing mathematical skills with Engineering Mathematics modules running into various engineering programmes across various levels.

The focus is to cater the needs of all functional departments conducting University Honours Degrees and Diploma courses at Caledonian College of Engineering, which includes all the modules in Engineering Mathematics as follows:

Another important benefit is the existence of Mathematics Learning Support Center equipped with latest Statistical / Mathematical packages to deal with the application of Mathematics / Statistics to real-world problem.

The department is actively involved in research in wide range of Mathematics / Statistics applications but is particularly specialized in Reliability Modeling and analysis of systems.
