Mechanical Engineering graduates with a sound knowledge of computer applications and technology will become at the cutting edge from an industrial and commercial perspective.
B.Sc., Hons. Degree in Engineering (Mechatronics)
An emerging and multidisciplinary engineering programme, named
as Mechatronics, which combines study of both mechanical
and electrical/electronic engineering is another most
prominent area in engineering, as seen by many industries
in Oman and the Middle East.

of 2-year full time study at CCEO and upon completion of 2

in their respective discipline of study.

The department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering is committed to provide high quality experience in the existing and emerging field of Mechanical Engineering as well as Industrial Engineering. The curriculum of study is tailored to cater to the needs of ever-changing technology and business environment in the context of Global as well as Sultanate of Oman perspectives.
The department is having well-qualified and competent faculty members with proficient experience and research background. A team of experienced and skillful technicians, supporting the faculty members, governs the various laboratories. The laboratories facilitate the students to acquire sound knowledge of theoretical and practical skills & engineering concepts.
The department is equipped with the state-of-art facilities that are designed flexible to impart a high quality technical training and to adapt to the requirements of the fast developing technology.
College Central Library, which is located in the main building, has all the facilities to provide the information to fulfill your needs.
The college operates semester programme structure and each academic session is divided into Semester A and Semester B. the contents of this student handbook should be read carefully so that you imbibe the college rules and regulations. Personal and Admission Tutors are always available who will be ready to help and assist you by counseling your queries and clarifications.
