working hours of the library?
On regular days
From Saturday to Wednesday : 9.00 a.m. to 8.15 p.m.
On Thursdays : 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.
During Examination
From Saturday to Wednesday : 9.00 a.m. to9.00 p.m.
On Thursdays : 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.
During vacation
From Saturday to Wednesday : 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.
On Thursdays : 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.
2. How can CCEO students become member of the library?
Students should produce their student identity card to join
as a member of the library.
3. How many books can a student borrow?
Regular students and part time students can borrow a maximum
of three books at a time.
Level 4 students and special part time students can borrow
maximum of four books at a time.
4. What is the lending period of a book?
Normal lending period of a book is Fourteen days only. For
special part time students books are issued based on their
leave schedule.
5. Is there any fine for the late return of books?
Yes. Students should pay fine for late return. Fifty baiza
will be collected as fine for a book per day.
6. Is there any reservation facility available in
the library?
Yes, students can reserve a book, which has been currently
issued to another member. Students will be informed when the
reserved books is returned to the library. Books will be kept
for three days only.
7. What are the activities that are prohibited inside
the library?
Noisy behavior, Using GSM, Damaging library properties and
eating are strictly prohibited inside the library. (Refer
Library rules)
8. What is Quiet Study Area- Individual?
Quiet Study Area - Individual is meant for individual students
study purposes. Group Discussion is not allowed in this area.
9. What is Quiet Study Area – Group?
It is a new section of the library. Students can discuss
in this area without making much noise and disturbing other
students.
10. Is there any facility to get the full text of
journal article?
Yes. The library will do the necessary arrangement to get
the article, if it is available in DELNET database. (Our library
is a member of Developing Library Network (DELNET))
11. How can I distinguish reference books from other
books?
Reference books are kept separately under Reference Sections
and also ‘Reference only’ seal can be seen on
the reference books.
12. How can I find whether a specific book is available
in our library?
Library catalogue is available on the Intranet for your search
purpose. Title, author and subject options are available for
searching.
