A Higher Education Admission Centre is established as per Royal Decree No.104/2005, to receive applications for joining the higher education institutions in the Sultanate. The centre will be operational from April 1, 2006. The unified admission centre will receive applications from students electronically. Students would be provided with a manual with information about the electronic system adopted by the Unified Admission centre. The names of students admitted will be published on the Unified Admission center’s website and in newspapers. They will also be informed through SMS or e-mails.
