“7th Math Quiz Competition”

On 25th April, 2018, the Math Club organized 7th Mathematics presentation Competition at Al Hail-Campus under the coordination of Ms. Nabila Al Balushi and Mr. Syed Zahoor ul haque from Al-Hail Campus. The aim of this activity is to promote interest in Mathematics among engineering students & to encourage them to participate. The competition started with four participants. The session started by welcoming address from Mr. Syed Zahoor ul haque with a short introduction relating to mathematics club and briefed the participants about the rules of the competition.


The first presentation was about Application of Bayes Theorem delivered by Ms. Badariya with the duration of 13 minutes. It was quite interesting and excellently delivered with good command on language and full confidence includes two supporting examples.

The Second presentation was about Mental Mathematics Tricks delivered by Mr. Abdul Rahman with the duration of 14 minutes. It was quite also interesting and excellently delivered with good command on language and physical activity taken two supporting examples asked by the audience.

The third presentation was about Monte hole Problem delivered by Ms. Fathiya with the duration of 9 minutes. It was excellently delivered with good command on language and confidence taken one supporting examples.

The fourth presentation was about Facts in Mathematics delivered by Ms. Marwa with the duration of 16 minutes. It was very interesting and excellently delivered with good command on language, physical activity and confidence, supporting examples taken and explained using the facts in the presentation followed by a short video related to importance of Mathematics in our life from childhood till end.

The Judges Dr. Senguttuvan, Dr. Javed Ali and Ms. Nabila gave their comments and scores to each participant. A Short motivational speech delivered by Prof. Syed Mohammad Rizwan (Head of M&S Department) meanwhile, scores were compiled for all participants and were announced to the audience by Mr Syed Zahoor ul Haque.



Mr Syed Zahoor ul haque concluded the session with the note of thanks to all the participants taking part in this Mathematics presentation competition.v
